Took these on a two-week trip where I was walking everywhere, and the zero-drop sole felt completely natural from day one — no breaking-in period at all. Even after stepping in a few puddles, my socks stayed totally dry, which sold me on the waterproofing.
Wore these through a rainy week in Seattle and my feet stayed completely dry, which is more than I can say for my last pair of "waterproof" shoes. The zero-drop sole makes walking feel more natural, and they're light enough that I forgot I had them on during a full day of sightseeing.
The zero-drop sole took me a day to adjust to, but now my feet feel so much more grounded on my daily walks. It's genuinely waterproof too, which I tested in a downpour, and the recycled upper breathes well even when it's warm out.
